The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety, Compliance, and Training Officer to join our team at TCR. This role is essential in ensuring that health and safety regulations, relevant company policies, and best practices are adhered to within our organization and with our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent auditing and investigative skills, a proactive attitude towards safety, and a passion for promoting a positive safety culture.

Safety and Compliance Management

· Utilize training reports to achieve 100% mandatory training compliance

· Monitor and keep records of external and internal training in line with ISO standards

· Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance

· Ensure all tooling and equipment meet TCR working standards and are within calibration

· Proactively log and follow up investigations in Quintic (in-house H&S application)

Training and Development

· Organize and deliver health and safety training programs to employees

· Host weekly progress meetings for Health & Safety & Training

· Host toolbox talks and staff briefings

· Promote a positive health and safety culture through communication and engagement initiatives

· Support Operations Managers with LTI autopsy investigations and mitigation

Auditing and Reporting

· Conduct compliance audits (internal & external) and lead investigations into incidents and near misses

· Follow up and own current Health & Safety actions from inspections and audits

· Stay updated with regulatory changes and actively share knowledge with colleagues

· Regularly inspect PPE/LMRA compliance and ensure 100% completion of inspections and toolbox talks

We are looking for an individual who:

1. Has good written and verbal communication skills and elementary data analysis skills

2. Is proficient in MS Excel and MS Word

3. Has auditing and investigation experience, ideally within an aviation or heavy vehicle setting

4. Possesses a detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with company processes and procedures

5. Holds an undergraduate qualification or equivalent, a full UK driving license, and is willing to undertake airside driver training

6. Has an ISOH Managing Safety qualification (essential) and is willing to work towards NEBOSH and a professional training qualification (essential)

7. Demonstrates a professional and proactive approach, effective interpersonal skills, flexibility, and adaptability

8. Can work accurately under pressure and to strict deadlines.
