We are looking for a motivated Baler Operative to become part of the team at our site in Aldridge:

Days of work: 4 on 4 off shift pattern including nights

4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off

07:00 - 19:15 hours 19:00 - 07:15 hours

hours average per week

A quick look at the role.

Individuals are sought who have experience operating Fixed Plant Equipment and Forklift Trucks and Loading Shovels within industrial environments. Full training will be provided but experience is desirable to cope with the demands of the role.

  • Operating Baler / Fixed Plant within the facility and occasional FLT and Loading shovel
  • To maintain good 5S standards in and around the Baler
  • Work to company health and safety standards
  • To complete company paperwork including daily bale counts and defect checks

    • Requirements

    Here’s what we require:

  • Experience of operating fixed plant within an industrial environment
  • A proactive person who has good organisational skills
  • A good timekeeper, team player but with the ability to work independently
  • Awareness of health & safety regulations
  • Experience within the waste / recycling industry would be an advantage.
