Job Description: Pulse Healthcare is currently seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with specialised expertise in paediatric care to join our team in South Cheshire. This role will involve providing clinical occupational therapy assessments and interventions to children and young people aged between 0-19. You will be responsible for a clinical caseload within both clinic and community settings, assessing a variety of conditions including functional skills assessments, ABC assessments, and working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical occupational therapy assessments and evaluations to determine individualised therapy needs of paediatric patients. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing developmental challenges and enhancing functional abilities. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure holistic patient care. Provide education and support to parents/caregivers regarding therapeutic interventions and home exercises. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting progress and modifications to treatment plans. Stay updated with current best practices, research, and advancements in paediatric occupational therapy.
