CLASS 1 DRIVER

MONDAY TO SATURDAY - START TIMES: 16:00 - 19:00

£19.00 - £23.00 PER HOUR  

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in the Chertsey, Surrey.

Rates of Pay:

• Monday to Saturday £19.00 per hour
• Sunday £23.00 per hour
• Nights out from £30 per night

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

•  Delivering film set equipment to production sites
•  Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
•  Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
•  Trunking film set trailers to and from various sites
•  Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
•  Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
•  Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

•  Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence 
•  Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehicles
•  No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes 
•  Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
•  Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
•  Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
•  Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
•  Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

•  Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Training

• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
