Calling all HGV Class 1 Drivers!

We have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Driver to join our Transport team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will deliver an on-time performance for our customers, ensuring that all relevant documents are completed and presented in a professional manner.

We believe the successful HGV Driver should have the following skills:

  • Full HGV Licence (C+E)
  • Digital Tachograph card (essential)
  • CPC card min of 28hrs covered (essential)
  • You must have no more than 6 points on your licence
  • Excellent communication skills

    • The key tasks for the HGV Driver role are:

  • Ensure all paperwork/PDA’s have clear in and out times so as to ensure full costs are recovered
  • Ensure all paperwork is in a respectable condition both to customers and on return to depot
  • Ensure daily checks of vehicles & trailers are carried out and any defects are reported straight away
  • Deliver on time performance, including updating journey details on PDA
  • Full understanding of and compliance with tachograph and working time directive regulations
  • Runsheets are filled out correctly and with all expenses attached
  • Flexible approach to the job in hand, be proactive don’t wait to be asked
