HGV Driver, Plymouth

Our client, a professional national haulage firm, requires a Class 1 C+E Night Shunter to start immediately on a long term booking that may become permanent for the right candidate after a successful qualifying period . The role involves using a tractor unit to shunt in their yard as well as shunting regular Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles. You will also move units 100 metres down the road to their secondary yard. Full training on the tractor unit will be given but Class 1 experience is required.

Pay Rate:

  • £17.37 per hour, Monday to Friday
  • £20.00 per hour, Weekends

    • Shift Schedule:

  • 1800 - 0600, working 4 shifts out of 7 in a rota.
  • This means you will sometimes be working full weekends when the rota dictates.
