Our client in Bermondsey, a leading provider of stage production services, is currently seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver to join their dynamic team. If you are a reliable and experienced driver with a passion for delivering top-quality service, this opportunity is for you.

Job Type:

  • Full-time/Part-time (depending on available vacancies)

    • Hours of work:

  • Morning Shift: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Hourly Rate: £16 an hour
  • Night Shift: Start time after 4:00 pm, Hourly Rate: £18 an hour
  • Overtime Rate (after 8 hours a day): £20 an hour
  • Saturday Work: £20 an hour for all hours worked
  • Sundays & Bank Holidays: £23 an hour for all hours worked

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport steel and stage production equipment to various sites and clients.
  • Handle loading and unloading of heavy materials, as heavy lifting may be involved.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes.

    • Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 driver's license with maximum of 3 points.
  • Previous experience driving class 2 preferred.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including mornings, nights, Saturdays, and occasional Sundays or bank holidays if required.
