We’re not just looking for someone to “manage a community.” We need a master of connection—someone who knows exactly how to spark conversations, build loyalty, and create an engaged ecosystem that fuels Base.com’s growth.

This role is about owning both online and offline engagement—from making a Discord/Forum an addictive hub for discussion to orchestrating must-attend meetups, roundtables, and industry events. You’ll ensure that every lead magnet we create pulls people deeper into our ecosystem, that our audience feels heard and valued, and that our brand builds real momentum within the right circles.

This isn’t just a “social” role—it’s about strategically growing a community that turns into a movement for Base UK. If you love building relationships, crafting experiences, and making sure people keep coming back for more, this is your role.

Responsibilities

  • Own & Grow the Online Community – Ability to turn a Discord/Slack/Forum into the go-to place for discussions, insights, and peer-to-peer engagement - that ultimately turns to leads and paying customers for Base.com.
  • Lead the IRL Strategy – Plan, promote, and execute high-impact in-person experiences—from intimate roundtables and exclusive dinners to larger industry meetups and Base.com-led events.
  • Be the Pulse of Our Audience – Understand what excites, frustrates, and drives our members—ensuring our community and content stay relevant and engaging.
  • Keep the Content Flywheel Turning – Work closely with the Content Strategist to turn community conversations into high-value content for blogs, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Make Lead Magnets Work Harder – Ensure that every guide, playbook, and free resource we put out drives real community growth and retention.
  • Spot & Secure Key Industry Events – Identify the must-attend expos, conferences, and networking events where Base.com should have a presence—and make sure we show up in the right way.
  • Track Engagement & Optimize Growth – Use data to measure what’s working, what’s not, and how we can create an even stronger community experience.

Requirements

  • Online & Offline Community Builder – You’ve built, scaled, or managed thriving communities—both in digital spaces (Discord, Slack, forums) and through in-person experiences.
  • Master of Engagement – You know how to get people talking, interacting, and feeling like they belong.
  • Event Ninja – From coordinating dinners with key players to setting up high-energy meetups, you know how to create events people actually want to attend.
  • Sharp Eye for Content Opportunities – You can spot golden moments in community discussions that can be turned into blogs, viral posts, or shareable clips.
  • Deep Understanding of Audience Psychology – You know why people join, stay, and engage in communities—and how to keep that momentum going.
  • Data-Driven & Adaptive – You track engagement, analyze trends, and constantly refine what’s working.
  • Experience with Growth-Focused Communities – B2B SaaS experience is a plus, but if you’ve built and grown communities that fuel brand success, we want you.
