Pay Rate: £37,440
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday , Varied start times from 4am
Location: Stoke on Trent - ST1 5PG

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1HGV Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

  • Work pattern - Monday to Friday - includes bank holiday working
  • Start times - varied, from 4am
  • Delivery of timber products to Wickes stores - experience of strapping a diminishing load required
  • Between 1-4 drops daily UK wide
  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

    • WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

    As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Candidates MUST have a minimum of 6 months commercial LGV C+E experience
  • Candidates MUST have experience of strapping diminishing loads - in this case timber products
  • Candidates MUST live locally to Stoke ST1 5PG
