We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer and passionate problem solver to join our office in London, to work on our leading logistics execution software, CargoWise. Who are we? WiseTech Global is the world’s biggest global logistics software company for the main players in the domain of global logistics, with customers like FedEx, DHL, and UPS.

What does your work look like?

You’ll be part of a small but growing team of Designers in our London office, managed by our Principal UX Designer. You will work closely together with another embedded UX Designer on an innovative, multi-year project of strategic importance that is being developed in Germany.

You will be instrumental in developing product concepts that have a significant impact on the industry, working alongside experts in the logistics domain. Your focus will be on understanding user roles, needs, tasks, and journeys, identifying pain points, and uncovering opportunities. Your user-centric approach will enhance our R&D efforts, ensuring our services achieve market success.

You will be a key force in running design rituals to maintain high-quality work. Our supportive Design team will be there to help you tackle challenges wherever they arise. Within our global team, most of our designers are based in Sydney, Australia. This is also where we have our Design System team that is responsible for an evolving world-class design system, supporting the embedded Product Designers.

As a hybrid workplace, we expect you to be in the London office 1-2 days per week, depending on your team's schedule. Based near Holborn/Chancery Lane, our office offers coffee machines, secure bike storage, showers, a gym, yoga classes, a sauna and more! We also come together often as a team for Town Halls and team activities.

  • You can carry a project through the entire double diamond of design thinking: a senior practitioner who has built up a toolset of reliable methods to achieve the best outcome for your projects, even when challenges are complex
  • A Design pioneer who loves changing hearts and minds: you can not only integrate yourself into existing workflows of your team, but also happily educate your cross-functional peers on the value of modern Product Design and gain their trust through great collaboration skills and the high quality of the work outcomes you provide.
  • You pursue outcomes pragmatically: rather than sticking to processes too rigidly, you have to be able to make decisions even in scenarios where there is high ambiguity
  • You embrace the domain you’re embedded in: Logistics in all its facets is deeply complex (but also extremely interesting), and your value as a Designer grows as you learn more about the specific challenges of your area.
  • You use an established Design System : Collaborating with specialised UI Designers to get the maximum out of your ideas.
