Production Team Leader - Mechanical Assembly

Experience with hand tools is beneficial for this role.

Location: Hitchin

Salary: up to £28,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:00

Our client in Hitchin are looking for a candidate with warehouse/production experience, that is comfortable using hand tools.

    • Production Team Leader  - Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipe fitting
  • Soldering/welding pipes - training will be provided
  • Working as part of a team in a busy factory
  • Potential forklift driving
  • Creating bespoke products

    • Production Team Leader -  Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience leading a team ideally
  • Experience using hand tools such as saws
  • Plumbing experience would be beneficial 
  • High energy, proactive and hungry attitude 
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing ideally 
  • Welding experience is a bonus
  • Forklift license is a bonus
