Forklift Operator

Pertemps have a fantastic opportunity for a Forklift Operator to join one of our leading manufacturing clients on an ongoing basis, operating on a continental 5-shift pattern (12 hour days & nights).

Medicals will be required prior to interview (this will include drug & alcohol tests)

Hourly rate £14.93.

The role will include:

  • Reporting to Team Leaders
  • Loading and offloading deliveries
  • Supplying materials to production
  • Maintaining safe working conditions
  • General housekeeping

    • You will need to:
  • Have a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (dated within the last 3 years)
  • Use appropriate IT systems in order to maintain stock accuracy e.g. MAP and SAP is essential
  • Have a methodical approach to decision-making
  • Have commitment to team working
  • Be safety conscious
  • Be flexible
  • Have good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Be able to follow instructions
