Here at Driver Hire York & Harrogate we have an opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our existing team and help drive our business to new heights. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a team member, this is an office-based role.
Driver Hire is the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics Recruitment Company. We offer temporary and permanent driving jobs, non-driving work and driver training.
As a Recruiter you will be engaged in the full spectrum of temporary recruitment:
• Visiting existing and new Clients 2 -3 days a week
• Face to face and telephone interviewing of Candidates
• Fulfilling Clients booking requirements
• Temporary Recruitment
Working out of our York office, this role will focus on:
• Advertising vacancies, headhunting
• Candidate interviews and registration
• New client acquisition, supporting existing clients
• Supporting marketing activities
• On call rota

Previous experience in a recruitment / sales role is desirable however in-house training will be given along with a further 2 weeks residential / foundation course.
You must have a full, UK Driving Licence and live within reasonable commuting distance of YO26. Own transport is required to enable Client visits.
The Rewards for working with Driver Hire:
• Basic salary will be £24,000 plus a bonus scheme with potential OTE of over £30,000
• Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm subject to office demands.
• Holidays will be 28 days per year including bank holidays. This will increase 1 day per year (up to 5 years) plus an extra paid day off for your birthday
