HGV Class 1 Driver/ C+E driver

Peebles, Scotland, gb

Driver Hire Borders are currently seeking a capable HGV Class 1 Driver/ C+E driver to cover 1 run each week on a Friday night (6pm start)

Primarily collecting pallets of eggs from the clients farms and contract producers. You can expect a safe and professional working environment, with a well maintained fleet of vehicles, using single trailers and rigid lorries. Knowledge of working with pallets and tail lifts would be advantageous. A flexible can do attitude is necessary to accommodate the ever changing requirements of the company.

This position requires the following criteria: ·

  • Full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence
  • Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 points

    • Duties include:

  • Complete all Relevant Paperwork
  • Multi-collection and/or Multi-drop
  • Deliveries and Collections Nationwide.
  • Inter-depot Collection/Deliveries
  • Pallet work using tail lifts
  • Ability to operate electric and manual pallet trucks
