Pay Rate: £40,428 , plus shift premiums
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 0100-0300 start
Location: Leicester - LE19 1WY

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • Working a Monday to Friday early AM start between 0100-0300 including 3 Saturday's per year with the occasional night out .
  • Driving Double Deck Trailers delivering across the country to our clients stores.
  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

    • WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • You will Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Have at least 6 months actual driving experience of a Class 1 vehicle.
  • Experience of driving Double Deck Vehicles would be preferred .
