Class 2 Tipper Driver

Driver Hire Dundee are recruiting for a Class 2 Tipper Driver to work on a harvest contract running out of Dundee. There are dayshift and nightshift positions available, with shifts being around 12 hours each. You will be required to work both weekdays and weekends.

This role involves off road driving as you will be getting loaded in various fields across the region, and then tipping at the factory at your booked time. Communication is everything on this contract – you’ll be working to a schedule and ensuring timely loading, tipping and vehicle handover.

The successful Class 2 Tipper Driver will have: 

  • Category C entitlement on your UK driving licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
  • No more than 6 points
  • Experience with manual gearbox

    • In return the Class 2 Tipper Driver can expect: 

  • Dayshift rate of £14.57 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Nightshift rate of £15.69 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Shifts available Monday to Sunday each week
  • Start times of 06:00 or 1800
  • 12 hours per shift
