Class 1 Driver (Weekends)

Are you a HGV driver looking for extra hours on the weekend? We have a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Class 1 driver – or someone who recently gained their HGV licence – to boost their earnings, and/or gain more commercial driving experience (as new passes welcome!)

This position is part-time (weekends) driving a C+E fridge truck, working for a leading logistics company specialising in refrigerated transport.

Hours:

  • Saturday and Sunday
  • Average shift 12 hrs
  • Operates a 24hr rota so starts can be from 02:00 to 23:00 – we can work around you and your availability
  • This role is temporary, part-time and ongoing

    • Pay and benefits:

  • £16.00 – £19 (PAYE / PAYE Advanced)
  • Weekly pay
  • Holiday pay and pension enrolment

    • As a qualified HGV driver, you will have:

  • Full UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) driving licence with current CPC and Digital Tacho card
  • No more than 6 points on licence, and no CD, IN, DD or DR endorsement codes
  • Ability to load and unload goods, ensuring secure and safe transport
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • A commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent knowledge of Driving Hours and WTR
