Monday – Saturday (5 shifts out of 6 days on rota basis), starting at 05:45 am

Description:

We are looking for an experienced and dependable 7.5-ton delivery drivers to join our client, a specialist in delivering white goods to their customers. As a delivery driver, you will play a crucial role in their logistics team, ensuring that appliances reach customers in perfect condition and on time.

Full description of the role:

  • £12.50 per hour (PAYE) / £14.01 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
  • Overtime hourly rate paid after 8 hours £ 14.50 (PAYE)/ £16.25 (PAYE Advanced )
  • Safely operate CAT C1 vehicles to deliver white goods appliances to customers.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, adhering to the company’s schedule and customer requirements.
  • Ensuring effective deliveries, adhering to schedules and ensuring timely arrivals at customers’ locations
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Assist with loading and unloading appliances, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation
  • Completing 10-25 drops per day

    • Candidate Requirements:

  • Hold Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tacho card
  • No more than 6 points on driving license
  • Customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

    • Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 months 7.5T driving experience
  • Valid : C1 licence (7.5T) ,Tachograph & CPC
  • No more than 6 Points or Major Offences
