Job Summary

  • Follow standard work for material handling (e.g. receiving, shipping, warehousing)
  • Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules
  • Use adequate equipment (e.g. forklift, tow train) to move material
  • Records movements of material in the transactional records systems (e.g. receipt, booking)
  • Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiency

    • Job Responsibilities

    The focus of this role will be mostly around picking, packing and shipping of outbound materials; managing shipping, carriers etc. 

  • Management of outbound material flow

  • Monitoring of outbound delivery performance 

  • Maintaining inventory status

    • Job Qualifications

    Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role;
  • Forklift licence (B1 Counterbalance);
  • CCDL;
  • Physically fit and capable of undertaking this type of work;
  • Willingness and ability to undertake shift work;
  • Crane sling licence would be advantageous, but not essential;
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
