Are you looking to move up, mentor junior engineers, lead great people, and work with innovative suppliers? Do you have experience developing Software for Embedded Components and some leadership experience? 

Key Accountabilities:

The right candidate will work in our UK development centre, developing code for our truck components. The candidate can devlop architectural schemes, communicate competently at a technical level and cares about the quality and performance of the finished products. This role is integral to our continued success in the forklift industry.

We need your experience leading projects and a few other things:

  • 1-4 years’ experience (3 preferred) in embedded software development
  • Knowledge of C and C++ application development is required
  • Knowledge of classic embedded components such as CPU management, EMMC memory, common drivers, i2c, SPI, CAN is recommended
  • Knowledge of lua is helpful
  • Be able to design architectures of embedded components, their design, construction, flashing and use
  • Experience leading small teams (1-2 people) working with agile methodologies

    Qualifications / Skills Needed

  • BSc Degree or equivalent in Hardware/Software/Embedded Engineering
  • Experience defining work priorities for a small team
  • Good Communication and Coordination
  • Broad knowledge and skill in high quality software engineering practices e.g. code structuring, testing, analytical and problem solving
