Job Description
A position has arisen for a Warehouse Keeper II at our Stoneywood facility on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Materials Team Lead, this role will maintain inventory by receiving, storing and delivering items, and will mainly be focused on the yard operations.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
•Relaying instructions to the crane operator during lifting activities, preparing and slinging loads for lifting and releasing the loads at their destination
•Completing daily forklift checks
•Inventory movement using tower or mobile crane, lifting gear or a forklift truck
•Picking and packing orders and loading goods internally and for dispatch while keeping paperwork up to date
•Maintaining stock efficiency and accuracy through Epicor transactions
•Cleaning work areas by assessing and practicing safe housekeeping
•Storing goods in a safe manner suitably protected from deterioration
•Cycle counting
•Assisting with the disposal of Company waste and participate in HSE inspections
Desired Qualities/Qualifications
Experience / Skills Required:
•Banksman Slinger certificate
•Valid forklift licence
•Valid UK driving licence
•Experience in pipe yard and inventory control practices
•Knowledge of inventory controls
•Application of Health, Safety and Environmental controls
Experience / Skills Preferred:
•Forklifts: carry out effective observations and recognize unsafe practice and behaviour
•Good general IT skills
