C+E Driver

Pertemps are currently recruiting several Class 1 Drivers (C+E) to work on a ad hock ongoing basis for our client based in Immingham. You will be required to carry out general haulage runs around the country.
 
What will I be expected to do? 

  • Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Secure cargo using straps, chains, and tarps as needed.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
    • What shifts and start times are available?
    Normally starting between 05:00 -07:00 each day.
     
    How much will I be paid as a HGV Driver?  
     
    You will be paid £14.00ph.

    Which skills or experience do I need to apply?
  • 6 months minimum Class 1 experience
  • Category C+E (HGV 1) on your licence
  • Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
  • No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s – no more than 6 points
