The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently recruiting for a Counter Balance FLT Operative to work for our client based in Hexham. The client specialises in the selling of agricultural tools, products and machinery.

This is a temporary role expected to last until the end of Summer 2024.

The role:

  • Operating Counter Balance FLT to perform standard warehouse tasks
  • Loading and unloading vehicles, picking stock and general house keeping
  • This role will involve handballing, so manual handling activities such as (but not limited to) pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying will be required
  • Navigating through small spaces and tight areas
  • Abide to company Health and Safety policies

    • The candidate:

  • A valid and in date Counter Balance FLT licence (not in-house) is essential
  • Physically fit as the role will involve manual handling
  • Able to work under own initiative or part of a team

    • Hours of work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am - 17:00pm
  • £12.50 per hour
