Class 2 HGV Driver : Horsham

Driver Hire Gatwick is thrilled to partner with a new client in Horsham to recruit a Class 2 Driver for an immediate start. This full-time role offers stable employment with hours from 07:30AM to 04:30PM, Monday to Friday. The position involves delivering food items and beverages to takeaway restaurants on the outskirts of London in the southeast. Also this is a Temp-to-Perm position which means it can lead to a Permanent role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to complete up to 10 deliveries per day.
  • Work alongside a driver’s mate to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Follow all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and maintenance.
  • Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.

    • Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Good communication skills.
