The Best Connection is currently seeking Forklift Counterbalance and Reach Drivers for one of our well established clients in Hortonwood area with £13.04ph

The working hours will be working:

  • Continental 4 on / 4 off shift pattern - permanent days
  • 06:00- 18:00 - 12 hour shifts - paid breaks
  • A valid in date counterbalance and reach licence is essential.
  • Immediate starts available!
  • Please only apply if you can work these shifts and the hours and also have required in date forklift licences

    • Responsibilities of the Forklift Driver

  • Will include the unloading and distributing of a variety of items from lorries into the warehouse, the items will vary in size so the job can be labour intensive.
  • Drive 60% on a truck during a shift
  • Line Feeding
  • Picking and Dispatch
  • Pick and pack products load/unload goods and the wrapping of the production lines
  • General housekeeping and cleaning duties as / if required.
  • Relevant training may be given if required to work in other areas of the warehouse.
  • Due to location worker must have own transport.

    • Requirements of the Forklift Driver

  • A valid in date counterbalance and reach licence
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Good accuracy and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to target.
  • Good timekeeping
  • Provide valid reference
  • PC literate.
  • Heavy lifting.
  • Attention to detail
