About the Role:

Driver Hire Maidstone & Medway is seeking an experienced Dustcart Driver to join our team for an ongoing role with the local council in Gravesham. This full-time position involves operating a dustcart for waste collection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a dustcart for waste collection across Gravesham.
  • Adhere to the council’s schedules and routes.
  • Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading of waste.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records using a Digi Tacho.

    • Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Dustcart Driver is essential.
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
  • Up-to-date CPC Card.
  • Valid Digi Tacho card.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

    • Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time: 07:00 AM
  • 8-hour shifts

    • Benefits:

  • Pay rate of £14.00 per hour.
