Job Title: Class 1 Trunk Driver / LGV 1 Driver / HGV 1 Driver / CE Driver
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Shift start times: Between 0500-0900
Location: Banbury
Salary: £17.16p.h Basic (up 50hrs) / £22.30p.h O/T (over 50 hours)


Contract Type: 4 Weeks starting mid-July - Assessments will be held prior to starting.

Pertemps have excellent opportunities for 5 X LGV 1 Trunk Driver's to join our team, working for our client out of their Banbury depot.

You will be required to carry out trunking duties between Banbury and Milton Keynes, on average 3 trunk runs per shift. You will need to be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and have a positive, great work ethic.
We are looking for drivers who are able to demonstrate a high level of driving competence, with a flexible approach and good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
Successful candidates will report to the Transport team, as part of your duties you will be expected to:
Adhere to company procedures and regulations
Manage your own working time, while adhering to tachograph rules and regulations
Carry out daily vehicle checks
Carry out customer deliveries in a safe and timely manner
Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance

To be a successful HGV 1 Driver, LGV 1, Cat CE, Class 1 Driver, you will have the following skills and experiences:

Must hold a UK HGV 1 UK driving licence
Must have at least 180 days experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the UK in the last 2 years
Have a maximum of 6 points for minor offences, no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes
Hold a valid CPC DQC
Have excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulations
