Willand HGV Class 2 (LGV Cat C) Day Drivers required paying £34,598.40 per year. This position will become permanent after a successful trial period is complete. Extensive two weeks' worth of training provided . Duties include Dray deliveries with a Drivers mate to businesses across the South West, working for one of the leading, historic brewers of lagers, ales, and craft beers in the UK.
Pay Rates:
Weekly pay of £665.35.
Annual salary of £34,598.40.
Salary is based on a guaranteed 48 paid hours per week.
Bank holidays paid at double time for 9.6 hours minimum.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday 04:30 - 06:30 starts.
Duties:
Dray deliveries with a Drivers Mate delivering stock to customers across the South West.
Driving a range of vehicles from 3.5T vans up to 26T trucks.
Heavy lifting & manual handling is an essential part of the role. Full training will be provided during induction.
Working closely with the Driver’s Mate and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
High attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of stock.
Working to a busy schedule with tight time window deliveries.
Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes:
Minimum of one year’s driving experience (preferred).
Clear understanding of the Drivers Hours & Working Time Regulations.
Building working relationships with your customers delivering excellent customer service,
Excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude & a team player.
Knowledge of the South West would be a huge advantage
