HGV Class 1 Driver – Doncaster

Logical Personnel Solutions are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in Doncaster. Our client is a national clothing retail distributor for two of the worlds biggest clothing brands, distributing palletised goods to RDC’s across the UK. We are looking for a HGV CLASS 1 driver in doncaster to work as day or night trunkers. You must be able to work various shift patterns with weekend shifts included if it is your preference, we have long term positions available.

All candidates must have a full valid HGV CLASS 1 licence, CPC, Digi card. All candidates will be inducted prior to their first shift.

Any successful candidate will work on a long-term basis if the job is carried out correctly and all health and safety procedures are adhered to.

JOB ROLE AND DUTIES:

  • Trunking runs to various RDC’s across the UK, completing 1/2 full load deliveries per shift.
  • Carry out POD and delivery not procedures.
  • Regular communication with transport.
  • Working maximum legal hours per week.

    • WORKING DAYS/HOURS:

    Any shift pattern in the working week of (Mainly Monday-Friday with Weekend shifts),but can suit to your preference.Start times vary betweenDays: 03:00-07:00 – (Average 04:00)Average shift length between 8-10 hours. Pay Rates: Due to IR35 our client are not accepting any new Ltd Company Drivers so the below rates are based on PAYE payment.
  • Basic Days: £10.87
  • Saturday Day shift: £11.87
  • Sunday Day shift £12.87
  • Basic Nights: £12.50
  • Saturday Night shift: £13.75
  • Sunday Night shift: £14.50
