Outreach Support Worker

£12 per hour

Part time role (16 hours) 

Working hours are between 8am-10pm. Working 5 days over 7

The Role

You will be supporting individuals with daily living skills and encouraging and promoting service users independence with tasks which include: meal preparation, household tasks, shopping, medication, personal care, attending medical appointments and activities in the community. You will be enabling people to live independently within their own homes.

We support a diverse group of individuals with complex needs. Our support workers are person centred in their delivery of care which makes our service very flexible and adaptable to each individual’s requirements. We support people to make their own choice, no matter how small and believe everyone should feel empowered to have choice and control over their lives.

This job can be very rewarding and you can support people to reach goals, achieve outcomes and be part of their community. 

Having experience of supporting individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Driver is not essential for this role but you must be willing to walk between houses within the Hawick area.

An enhanced PVG is required for this role.
