Forklift Truck Driver, Spalding

Our Client is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their Spalding warehouse team that provides fresh and frozen food handling solutions throughout the UK. This is an ongoing position that can lead to a permanent position following a successful trial period. All trucks have a heated cab and seat.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading trucks as required
  • Moving pallets of boxes products between the chilled and Frozen warehouses
  • Receiving and dispatching pallets via Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld scanners
  • Any other duties as required

    • SHIFTS AND PAY

    DAY SHIFTS:

  • Tuesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday shift
  • £12.75 per hour for the 1st 39 hrs then £14.00 per hour, Sunday is £15.00 per hour.
  • 2 x 15 minutes paid break - 1 x 30 minutes unpaid break (60 Minute total break)

  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
