HGV Class 1 Driver

Our client in Stoke on Trent is looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work initially out of their Stoke Depo, there is a planned move to East Midlands Gateway in October 2024. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a leading company.

Role:

Trunking from site to site – drop and swap

Loads:

  • Mixed sizes from large car parts to small – various levels of packaging so strapping is key
  • No hand balling from the driver, will be loaded and tipped at site
  • Need to be seasoned driver as some location tight spaces / yard for turning etc

    • Shifts:

    Mon to Fri (no weekends) usually 11/12 hour days

    Start times:

    Various from: 04:00am to 20:00pm / 21:00pm

    Pay:

  • Standard rate: £15:77
  • Shift premium rate (if working between the hours of 18:00pm and 06:00am) = Valid UK Driving License, Tacho and CPC.
  • Held your Class 1 license for a minimum of 2 years.
