What makes Community Integrated Care a great place to work: Benefits & USP’s:
Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.
We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over national and regional awards!
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
One of the values of Community Integrated Care is our passion for our people and every year we invest in our front-line worker pay inline with the Living Wage increase each April. Our promise has always been clear: we will do everything in our power to improve pay for colleagues. And so, if you start with us between now and 31 March your pay will be £11.94per hour then from the 1April , this will increase to £12.62 per hour.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented Support Workers, to work within a well-established service, supporting 6 people. This service will be supporting people with learning disabilities, whilst also promoting their choices, wellbeing and independence. They need 24 hour support with personal care, medications, finances and accessing the community. This service is over 3 floors and with a shared lounge, kitchen, dining room and bathrooms for the people we support. They all enjoy doing different activities such as being out and about in the community, such as: swimming, going shopping, going for coffee, and walking. The people supported here would describe themselves as a fun, happy and a friendly bunch! They enjoy having staff with them who are outgoing, kind, caring, friendly and have the ability to think outside of the box. We currently have full or part time positions available. Shift patterns vary, but include am-3pm, pm-10pm, 8am-8pm, 8pm-am and pm-am (waking night) or 10pm-am (sleep in).
