Our client requires a Class 1 Driver to join their prestigious internationally known company. They invest a lot in their training and advancement and are highly professional. The role will become permanent for the right candidate following completion of a successful trial period.

The main part of the job is transporting large components between their various factory sites in Plymouth, you will be responsible for securing the load. At times you will be required to move extra large, abnormal loads with police escort. These shifts will take place in the evening for safety reasons, so flexibility to switch from day shifts to evening shifts is required. Notice will be given for any abnormal working pattern. Experience in moving abnormal loads is essential.

Pay Rate:

  • £14.40 Per Hour Monday to Thursday.
  • £21.60 Per Hour Fridays.

    • The hourly pay rate is increased considerably for the abnormal load shift. Plus, there are shift premiums on top of that. Both will be discussed at interview as they are still being finalized.

    Hours of Work

  • 0630 - 1630 Monday to Thursday
  • 1600 - 0000 for Abnormal load shift
  • Some Fridays will be available at an enhanced rate.
