Shifts for HGV 2 Driver :
Start times typically 05:45, 11:00, 15:00, 23:00 and 03:30 nut this may vary.
Shift length between 8 and 10 hours
Pay for HGV 2 Driver :
From £14 per hour with over time paid at a premium rate.
Paid weekly
Main Duties of HGV 2 Driver
Completing strict vehicle checks
Completing paperwork to the highest of standard and detail
Making multiple deliveries to various hubs and depots throughout the UK – typically 3 or 4 drops
Helping to Load/Unload vehicle
Requirements of HGV 2 Driver:
Full UK Driving License with valid HGV 2 entitlement
Valid Digi Card
Valid CPC
No more than 6 points on your license for minor offences
Valid DBS check dated in the last 6 weeks (we can assist in applying for one if you do not have it)
