Pay Rate: £30,00 - £31,000

Contract Type: 3 months fixed term contract

Shift patterns: Monday – Friday

Location: Liverpool L1 1JD

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Site Operations Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements..

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Take full Management control of unit including the pick and operation and pot wash.
  • Manage and day to day budget as specified by the Operations Manager
  • Provide effective leadership, communication and direction to all colleagues and ensure they collectively perform to their full potential, specifically by meeting quality and service targets.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company policies for both Health & Safety and Food safety for their area.

  • Demonstrate experience in people management
  • Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulation
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports

    • A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received.
