DAYS: 06:00 - 09:00 STARTS

NIGHTS: 17:00 - 20:00 STARTS

DAYS - £16.00 PER HOUR

NIGHTS - £18.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Howden.

We are looking for experienced class 1 drivers to cover days and night shifts.

This role may become permanent for the right candidate.

Day to Day Duties

  • Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • General Haulage
  • Trunk runs
  • Handball may be required
  • Temperature controlled trailers
  • Strapping loads correctly
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
  • Follow Company policies and procedures
  • Comply with Driving rules and regulations

Essential Skills

  • Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
  • Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
  • Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
  • Work in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working on general haulage is desirable but not essential

Training

  • Driving assessment undertaken
