Salary: £24,960
Contract: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift Pattern: Any 5 from 7 - Rotational 06:00-14:00, 10:00-18:00, 12:00-20:00
Location: Livingston - EH54 8AS

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Transport Clerk to play a vital role ensuring smooth-running of all transport scheduled activities.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

  • Ensure drivers are legally compliant, carrying out briefs/de-briefs, and ensure all tasks with regard to the Transport Management System are completed daily
  • Communicate with drivers regarding rotas, routes and any issues arising, providing paperwork as required
  • Communicate with vendors regarding collections, delivery points regarding bookings and resolve customer queries
  • Ensure that Transport administration duties are carried out accurately and efficiently

  • Previous experience of working within a supply chain environment desirable
  • Previous experience of working within a transport environment desirable
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Able to communicate at all levels, internally and externally
