We are looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to join our Onshore Service team in and around Glasgow - Kilmarnock - Moffat.

You will be responsible for the efficient management of stocks whether picking orders or locating stock within the warehouse. The position requires on time delivery targets are kept and customer requirements are met.

Communication at all levels is extremely important as is the ability to work as part of a team to enhance our service to our customers.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Order, receive, pick, pack, issue and dispatch inventory whilst maintaining fully auditable records on both system and paper accurately

  • Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity)

  • Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required

  • Takes care for correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.)

  • Captures relevant data in data processing systems

  • Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems

  • Organizes a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area

  • Completes packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework

  • Completes transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation

  • Maintain a safe, clear and clean environment ensuring all procedures are adhered to. Including equipment maintenance

  • Behave with flexibility to support operational requirements whilst maintaining integrity of procedural requirements

  • Support home location or others upon request with flexible working arrangements

  • What you need to make a difference

    A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for..

  • Material Handling experience is preferred

  • Prior working experience in a warehouse environment would be preferred specially from the Wind industry however applicants from other industry are welcome

  • Technical knowledge would be an advantage

  • A self-motivated individual with ability to work under tight deadlines

  • SAP experience would be preferred although full training would be provided

  • The job role requires Full UK driving license
