Driver Hire are expanding their North East territory with a newly created Recruitment Sales Consultant position. This will be focusing on business development of new and existing clients in the SR and DH post code areas.
We offer clients a recruitment solution within the transport, logistics and industrial sectors. Our clients can be national or local – in sectors such as construction, building supplies, food & drink, pharmaceuticals plus many many more. We find the right local people for the right local jobs!
This is a hybrid work pattern, with time split:
-Office days in the NE4 area as well as independent working days at a co-working location in Sunderland.
-Onsite visits to prospect clients in the SR and DH areas.
-Monday to Friday working with a flexible pattern on start/finish times.
You will make use of various internal reports to support your sales strategy and tactics, but nothing beats having lots of local area knowledge that you can bring to the role.
You will develop the territory by use of mapping, telesales, drop in’s, face to face presentations, marketing mailers, social media and business networking.
This type of role suits an outgoing and confident person where building long lasting relationships is a key skill.
One day you could be speaking to the transport manager of a food and drinks business by phone and the next day presenting a full solution to the business owner. No two days or hours are the same in this role!
Initially you will have all the support of the Newcastle team but ideally you will grow the territory to allow for your own support member of staff. Our vision is to open a secondary office in the Sunderland area which you would play a key part in. Working with us through this exciting phase will lead to many possible future opportunities.
Driving licence and own transport is essential for which mileage is paid, however there is shared use of a pool car on a rota basis.
Ideally applicants would be based in the SR area for an easy commute.
OTE £30k (this is made up of basic salary, on call allowance, bonus and referral bonus’s)
