The position of HGV Driver involves:

  • Making multi drop palletised deliveries to businesses and private addresses around the South West.
  • Loading/unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security.
  • Planning route on a day to day basis.
  • Working closely with the network hubs.
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.
  • Attending regular training sessions.

    • Essential skills required for HGV Driver:

  • Must hold either a UK Class 1 CE or Class 2 C Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience of curtain sider trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite and a team player.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.

  • Hours of work are Monday – Friday, working 48 hours per week, starting at 07:30hrs.
