Receiving and inspection of inbound product from suppliers, ensuring full adherence to purchase order and requirements.
Locating product in suitable packing and storage locations, ensuring optimal protection and space utilisation.
Ensure that all product lots are fully traceable and lot controlling is maintained within our warehouse.
Picking and packing of customer shipments, following any special instructions on the order pick tickets.
Booking of daily freight collections, ensuring all carriers arrive on-site at the required time. Early or late collections must be flagged to the Operations Manager.
Ensure all ship orders are picked, packed and dispatched daily to assist the company meet their OTD targets.
Ensure all warehouse work areas comply with housekeeping requirements
You may be required to perform such other and/or additional duties within your skill and competence as the Company may reasonably require.
Basic Qualifications:
Educated to GSCE level in English and Maths
Previous experience working within a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment with product inspection and auditing duties is highly desirable.
Understanding of batch numbers, expiry dates and lot traceability.
Reliable, with mature attitude.
Computer literate – competent with Windows and Microsoft Office.
Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Have a high attention to detail.
Good interpersonal and team skills, with excellent time management and attendance record.
Flexible approach and available for both evening and weekend working when required.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling on regular basis.
Forklift experience an advantage.
