The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry-leading client based in the Barnsley area. We are looking for experienced 3.5 Tonne Van drivers to join the team on the day shift.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am start time
Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
Conducting deliveries to various locations across the UK, including other depots and commercial clients.
Transporting large panels with no unloading involved; it primarily entails waiting at the destination.
Ensuring accurate completion of delivery-related paperwork.
Involvement in minimal physical handling of goods.
Executing 3 to 5 drops daily.
Maintaining a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
Valid and in date UK driving licence.
Proven experience as a van driver or in a similar role.
Excellent driving skills with no more than 6 points on licence.
Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
Customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
