The Benefits Delivery Team Leader is part of the PayTech Benefits Market Delivery Squad within Market Success organization of PayTech. Reporting to the Benefits Success Manager and leading a team of up to 5 non strategic project managers. This is a client-facing role in partnership with the Service Management and Payment Engagement functions. The Benefits Team Leader leads the delivery of a mix of agreed standard customer changes in line with BL backlog prioritization which is essential to the support and ongoing relation of Benefits business line in legacy platform architecture whilst PayTech is undertaking major transformation.

The Benefits Delivery Team Leader is responsible for the BAU backlog for Benefits BL initiatives (strategic programmes and New Markets not in scope). This role requires an in-depth understanding of the Edenred Paytech existing products and platform supported by Benefits BL as well as a solid understanding of Edenred Benefits products across both Europe, UAE, and Mexico. This role requires the willingness to learn and adapt quickly to the changes derived from the new platform rollout thus strategic mindset to scale the team and embrace change, potentially supporting the migration to the new platform and the decommissioning of existing products/services.

What you will be doing:

  • Introduction of change to existing Benefits programmes with a focus on minimising impacts to ongoing services, mitigating risk
  • Identify Benefits client objectives, negotiating between core and future phasing in order to efficiently adhere to agreed delivery timeframes
  • Monitor and control project delivery across internal teams and external teams/clients, identifying and challenging delays and obstacles
  • Planning, effort estimations, status reporting and project tracking
  • Drive issue resolution, enable reporting, and manage escalations.
  • Promoting and supporting services & solutions along with other team members to achieve company objectives
  • Identify efficiency gains across the team projects, aligning requirements across all approved projects to delivery standard features
  • Lead and mentor Project Manager direct reports, supporting the delivery of their projects where required
  • Comply with Group rules and policies (ethic, image…), delegation of powers and processes
  • Assure team leadership, alignment and motivation. Cultivate organizational diversity, develop talents and maximize people engagement

  • Ability to negotiate on scope to deliver MVP’s and subsequent phases to accelerate project delivery.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in project management and programme delivery

  • Strong communications skills – both written and verbal
  • Strong experience on change management. Flexible, can cope with changing priorities

  • Ability to work with external international clients in a customer facing business with strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate others in order to attain desired delivery objectives and outcome
