FLT Reach Driver Job description

This is a role working for a well-respected company that values its employees greatly.

Based in Trafford Park, you will be required to work in the busy warehouse environment of a company that supplies products to the construction industry.

As well as being a FLT Reach Driver you will be expected to help out with some warehouse and picking duties if required.

Hours are 1630 until 0130am Monday to Thursday and 1630 – 1230am on Fridays – Please only apply if you can commit to these hours.

FLT Reach Driver Job Role

Our FLT Reach Driver must be able to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment, be flexible to working overtime and take pride in delivering a first-class service.

  • The role will involve Packing/Picking and FLT driving over an 8/10-hour shift Pattern (overtime paid after 8-hours)
  • Using driving skills to transport goods to their required area in the warehouse.
  • The role will include operating a Forklift Truck in a busy indoor area.
  • Able to work with and contribute as part of a team.
  • Ensure ALL products are loaded on to vehicles correctly and as ordered by our customers.
  • Performs other duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager.

    Attractive minimum rate of pay of £13.50 per hour (works out at £15.15 per hour inclusive of up front holiday pay) PLUS, regular overtime (£17.55 per hour which is £19.65 per hour when up front holiday pay is added) paid weekly via PAYE. successful FLT Reach Driver.

    Successful candidate will have the opportunity to turn this role into a permanent position for themselves.
