Salary: £12.50 per hour 

Hours: Full Time/Part Time/Bank

Aspirations Care are looking for experienced Intensive Support Workers to join the team in our service in Birmingham. You will be resilient, able to deal with repetition and have excellent verbal, reading and writing skills. You will be confident and willing to access the community with the service users. 

One of our PWS absolutely loves Aston Villa Football club, and is asking for Support Workers who share his interest in Football. He enjoys friendly banter and likes to feel cared for and supported. 

Another PWS you would be working closley with has requested Support Workers who share his interest in gardening and being outdoors. Someone with a creative mind would be an excellent fit. 

We also have a PWS in this service who would really like Support Workers who share his interest in Marvel Films and photography. He loves reminiscing about his past, so someone with great communication skills is a must. He likes to be independant and will ask for support when needed. 

The ideal candidate will have a 'get up and go' attitude, be able to hold good conversation and have excellent communication skills. They will be trustworthy, reliable and fiesty. 

The service is a development of self-contained/single occupancy apartments in the community of Stechford, Birmingham.

What will the job involve?

  • Assisting our people to improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Offer stimulation and motivation through conversation and social activity.
  • Assisting with meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Booking and attending health care appointments with our people.
  • Reporting any safeguarding concerns to the management team.
  • Maintaining records by keeping care plans and risk assessments up to date.
