A Steel Operative is required for a multi-national steel processing company based in Smethwick. Operating overhead cranes to move steel around the workplace, working on the weighbridge, loading/unloading vehicles for dispatch and more.

Duties of the role include;

  • Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
  • Driving counterbalance forklift trucks
  • Operating the weighbridge
  • Loading and unloading vehicles for delivery
  • Any other duties as and when required

    • You will be working on a rotating shift pattern of;

  • 6am – 4pm Monday – Thursday / 1pm finish Fridays
  • 6pm – 6am Monday – Thursday

    • This role will be;

  • Working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities
  • Weekly pay whilst on the agency
  • Paying £13.42 on the day shift & £15.25 on the night shift
