What you’ll be doing


  • Manage multiple projects/ workstreams through the full project lifecycle.
  • Agree and document project scope, providing clear identification of the four main sections: initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner, securing and assigning the right resource to the right tasks.
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project costs to meet agreed budgets.
  • Ensure all material risks and issues are reported and escalated appropriately.
  • Maintain a detailed project schedule and work plan. monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Adhere to the DERTOURUK project management standards.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management and project communication to the business; provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Provide project expertise and support to the business operational teams.
  • Oversee the involvement of any third-party partners, ensuring they meet our quality, cost, and timing goals.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Be a driver of sound and effective project governance across all workstreams.
  • Stay up to date with current trends and technological innovations relevant to the business’ objectives.
  • Actively collaborate with other departments to ensure supplier relationships are well managed and consistent.
  • Be positive in undertaking any reasonable duties relevant to the position to ensure the success of the operation.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills
  • In-depth project management and related experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Commercial acumen, able to assess data, draw conclusions and propose actions based on detailed analysis.
  • Experience of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience of managing a varied project workload
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices

  • A background of project management in the travel industry
  • Experience of working in an international environment
