About The Role

Wilson James is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as a Driver / Store person at their site based near Heathrow.

The HLI is a complex contract and the Store person and Muti Drop Airport delivery driver role will be key in delivering the high service level demanded by the client. The Store person and Muti Drop Airport delivery driver role will cover various duties within EMD and you will need to be cross trained in a number of skills to cover the wide ranging demands of the role. The role is fast paced, ever evolving, in which the right candidate will also be required to support the wider operation at CLC at times so being a flexible person is important. 

The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Receiving and sorting of deliveries
  • Use of fork lift & Driving delivery vehicles
  • Assisting with the counter service within the T2B stores
  • Accurately processing paperwork to ensure reordering of parts as required
  • Supporting stores controller with Admin duties and processing stock transfer requests as required
  • Safe and appropriate storage of materials.
  • Complete warehouse admin activities within a team environment
  • Follow written and oral communications; receive direction regarding duties and tasks.
  • Weekly perpetual inventory checks of security consumables in the security Stores.
  • Housekeeping of all areas at CLC and T2B.
  • Emergency call out rostering 1 in 4.
  • Any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management

    • About You

    Wilson James is looking to recruit people with a minimum of 2 years warehouse/airport experience. The successful candidate must have previous customer service experience, be flexible and have good organisational skills. In addition, the following skills and experience are required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be physically able to carry out duties including, Manual handling, The ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reach and or lifting, in line with Health and Safety regulations
  • Be a team player and well as the ability to work under their own initiative
  • Previous warehouse and Stock control experience
  • Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations
  • Fork lift/Pallet truck licence or ability to gain one
  • Be able to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
  • Be able to secure an airside pass
  • Have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 3pts
