The Best Connection are seeking experienced LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) Tanker drivers (NON-ADR) day-shift for our Hartlepool based client for on-going and Ad-Hoc positions.

The role:

  • Starting at the Harlepool depot hub you will be driving across the country to deliver NON ADR liquids to one of three destinations, returning with an empty tanker to be re-filled.
  • There is a minimum of "Hand-balling" involved, clients drivers fill and empty tanks
  • The Safe and Timely Operation of a C+E (Class one) vehicle
  • All vehicle checks and reporting of defects.
  • Achieving delivery slots
  • Completion of delivery notes and associated paperwork

    • The candidate:

  • C+E (Class One) Licence
  • In date CPC and DIGI Card
  • Minimum of 1 years experience for insurance compliance
  • Experience in driving "liquids preffered

    • Rewards:

  • £13.85 per hour (PAYE) for first 8 hours worked Monday to Friday
  • £27.70 per hour for Sunday / Bank Holiday
  • £20.78 per hour after 8 hours Monday to Friday / all Saturday
